This is not your grandfather's club anymore! There are no boring, mandatory meetings and you don't have to receive a secret invitation to join us. We have members from all over Almaguin and will serve anywhere in the Highlands. We are your neighbours and we care...

Who are we? We are you! We are parents and grandparents, students and business professionals, stay-at-home parents and business owners.

 

We ALL have busy schedules! We work full-time, have kids, and our schedules are just as packed as yours. We get it, 'spare time' is sometimes hard to find (sometimes non-existent! lol), so we understand busy schedules and our club is flexible to everyone's!

How do we meet? When you're doing your nightly Facebook scrolling, you just quickly check the members-only group for any new conversations. If you see something new, just jump in on the conversation! 

 

We don't waste time traveling to and from meetings, or having mandatory weekly/monthly meetings.  We save all that 'spare time' for meeting up in our community to do community service projects. When we do meet, it's FUN and there's always food involved! We try to be unique and think outside the box (remember, every great idea sounded 'crazy' at first). Also, if you have kids, they can attend any of our events for free when you are there helping out. Joining the club is a win-win; for your community, your heart and your family!

The great thing about our club is that there is no 'minimum time commitment'. Some of our members can only attend one or two things throughout the year and that is great! You choose what you want to help with. When we head out into the community, you simply RSVP yes or no. It really is that simple, so please don't feel stressed about the 'time commitment' when joining the club because there is no time commitment. You'll never 'get stuck' doing too much--we are just neighbours helping neighbours.
